He has guided hunters successfully in bears, sheep, caribou and moose. In fact he guided a client to the #11 Boon and Crocket Moose in 2004 (75 1/4in score 248 5/8). His experience will provide you the best chance to bag the animal of your choice. Because we limit the number of hunters we will take each year you can be assured that you will be personally guided by John rather than an Assistant Guide (from somewhere). You can be confident that you will benefit from the knowledge and experience that John has gained from his many years hunting in Game Management Unit 19 of Alaska. His many years in the field in this area help him find the trophy you are looking for.

John and his family live year round in Alaska. They have made their home here where the air is clean and the wildlife abundant. Going on a hunting trip with John is like taking a walk in his backyard. He is very familiar with the climate, terrain and wildlife of Alaska and will use this knowledge to help you have a successful hunt.

John has quality gear that will keep you warm, safe and dry throughout your hunt. John‘s gear includes SAT phone, quality tents, bivys, cooking equipment, first aid gear and his own personal plane. Alaska weather and terrain can be harsh and unforgiving. It is important that your guide knows what to expect and is prepared for whatever might come. John knows Alaska and is prepared to keep you safe while hunting for the big game trophy of your choice.
